My name is Alper Aydoğdu. I was selected to participate in DiscoverEU, an EU initiative that offers young Europeans the opportunity to travel and explore Europe. I have also received an official invitation letter from the organizers, which is included in my application file. Iam planning a trip to Denmark and Germany between August 5th and August 30th, 2025, as part of the DiscoverEU program supported by the European Commission
I will travel by plane from Istanbul to Copenhagen, Denmark on August 5th, where I will stay until approximately August 15th. After that, I will use my DiscoverEU Interrail pass to travel by train to Berlin, Germany, where I will stay until my return flight to Turkey on August 30th. Additionally, I will participate in the official DiscoverEU participant meet-up in Berlin, which is organized by Germany to promote cultural exchange among young people across Europe.
As indicated in the documents I have submitted, I will be staying in various hostels, and all my travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by my mother, who is my financial sponsor.
I recently took the Turkish university entrance exam and intend to begin my university education in September 2025. Therefore, I have strong personal and academic ties to return to Turkey. I have submitted proof of my exam registration and family ties as part of my application.
